Qualification (शिक्षण) :
- Subject Matter Specialist (Agrometeorology) – Post Graduate in Agrometeorology /Meteorology/Agronomy/Agriculture Physics. Preference to candidates with Agrometeorology qualification
- Agromet Observer – 10+2 in the science stream along with the basic knowledge of computer operations
Age Limit (वय) :
- Subject Matter Specialist (Agrometeorology) – should not be more than 35 years as on closing date of application.
- Agromet Observer – 18 – 27 years and should not exceed more than 27 years as on closing date of application.
- Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per the Government of India rules.
Pay Scale (वेतन):
- Subject Matter Specialist (Agrometeorology) – Rs.56100 + DA + HRA
- Agromet Observer – Rs.21700 + DA + HRA
Fees (फी) :

- SC/ST and women candidates are exempted from paying processing fee.
